For 2023 (and 2024 ...) - we are now fully retired from IT training.
We have made many, many friends over 25 years of teaching about Python, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, Java, C and C++ - and MySQL, Linux and Solaris/SunOS too. Our training notes are now very much out of date, but due to upward compatability most of our examples remain operational and even relevant ad you are welcome to make us if them "as seen" and at your own risk.

Lisa and I (Graham) now live in what was our training centre in Melksham - happy to meet with former delegates here - but do check ahead before coming round. We are far from inactive - rather, enjoying the times that we are retired but still healthy enough in mind and body to be active!

I am also active in many other area and still look after a lot of web sites - you can find an index ((here))
Away to train - but still around by video for Melksham meetings

The nights are drawing in ... and it was already dark when I arrived at my destination this evening; I'm training away this week.

Since I'm in a town I've not visited before, I'm wanting to have a look around and take some pictures. But my goodness - haven't things changed, and for the better; the modern digital camera is so able to capture the night scene.

And - back in my B&B - I'm automatically on line. Easy, peasy! Again changes for the better - I have a Shadow Campus Operations Board meeting tomorrow night, and a Melksham Chamber of Commerce meeting on Tuesday. Both of which I'll be attending via a Skype video link; the Wessex association AGM and the Melksham Trader's meeting later this week will just have to be missed as they've not yet got the technology, but this can save an awful lot of dashing back and forth across the country, and a lot of meetings no longer missed. Have to love the technology.

Some things are old fashioned here, though. Along with the 20Mbit broadband (I ran a discrete test to see!), I've got village life. Pitch black outside, had to find anything in the dark, but two very helpful lady dogwalkers who pointed me in the right direction and even stood in the driveway to the place I'm at to show me where it is.
