This is now an archive web site. Some is still relevant as at June 2026 but some is purely of historic interest.
Lisa and I (Graham) are now fully retired from IT training. We have made many friends over 30 years of teaching about Python, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, Java, C and C++ - and MySQL, Apache, Linux and Solaris/SunOS too. Our training notes are out of date, but with upward compatability some examples remain operational and relevant. You are welcome to make use of them "as seen", at your own risk. We now live in what was our training centre in Melksham - happy to meet with former delegates here - but do check ahead before coming round. We remain active, enjoying the times that we are retired but still healthy enough in mind and body to do things!
I am also active in many other area and still look after a lot of web sites - you can find an index ((here)) |

Pictures of Melksham Heritage Discovery Fair (written 2014-07-11)
The Melksham Hertitage Discover Fair took part at the Well House Collection at Well House Manor on Spa Road on Saturday 5th July. Guest speakers included Kate Bevan from English Heritage, and John Forbat, evacuated to Melksham during the second world war and revisiting for the first time, who was signing copies of his book during the day.
Around 80 people visited during the day, seeing a variety of stalls, listening to the talks, seeing the various artefacts and displays and talking with experts to help research their Melksham Families and homes. A great success - "when can we do it again" people were asking. The Well House Collection is open daily, as is the cafe - just pop in. And we have a few copies of John's book (signed copies) available at [82][c2]ã9.99 ... call or get in touch ahead of time if you want to meet up with our archivist or curator, or have specific questions. Love to see you.
